DHET directive extends all DYNA skills programmes & learnerships!

By 11 June 2024Uncategorised

The Department of Higher Education and Training has issued a directive extending the enrolment end date for 275 legacy qualifications. This extension allows DYNA to continue to enrol learners on its usual skills programmes (incl. CORE / BMS) and learnerships for the next two years. Learners also have an additional three years, until 2029, to achieve competence under these qualifications.

During this period, DYNA will remain committed to developing and promoting occupationally-based qualifications that cater to the leadership needs of various industries. The focus will be on ensuring these qualifications are aligned with the evolving demands of the workplace, providing relevant and high-quality training.

The extension provides a valuable opportunity for learners and employers to transition smoothly to the new system. DYNA’s team will keep stakeholders informed about ongoing developments and updates regarding the new qualifications and their implementation.

However, for the medium term, it’s Business as Usual.
